Brief :

Projection of images around UK sites. Volvo sponsored Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman’s recent tour of UK clubs and images were generated by Volvo’s brand agency to coincide with the club tour. hfm was contracted for four cities – Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol. On subsequent weekends, hfm projected for two nights, Friday and Saturday.

Each week prior to the projection nights, hfm visited each city to scout projection sites and positions.

The hardware 5kW xenon projector is a large format projection system that can project images up to 50m wide at 60,000 Lumens. Multiple slides were changed manually after each half-hour period, from 9pm through to midnight, each night. Power was supplied via a mobile generator.
